All things Gear, Chips, Modules and Cubes.
You can access your gear, through two means, therough your profile or through the Gear Factory.
But nanoweapons are available through the Gear Factory or (partially) through Hero.
In general most players choose a specilisation and then focus on developing a subset of their gear. All gear needs to be developed to a degree, to enable the Gear Refinement bonuses. But once you get most gear to 6* (the red star) that’s enough for non specialty items.
In your profile, you will see red dots where you have upgrades available.
Gear
You have 6 main gear slots. The bottom two are for SuperWeapons.
Slot | Attributes |
Weapon | Rider ATK, Fighter DEF, Fighter HP |
Shield | Shooter ATK, Rider DEF, Rider HP |
Chest | Fighter ATK, Shooter DEF, Shooter HP |
Helmet | Fighter ATK, Rider DEF, Rider HP |
Ring | Rider ATK, Shooter DEF, Shooter HP |
Boots | Shooter ATK, Fighter DEF, Figther HP |
Gear (like other equipment) gets “Enhanced” With gear enhancer, and then “Promoted” in Star Value with “Promoters”. This means you need to collect both Enhance and Promote material for Gear, Chips, Modules, Cubes, and nanoweapons.
When enough Gear has been promoted you get access to “Refinement”, which add to Troop skills.
When your gear reaches 8 Star it can also be “Modified” with Gear Modifier, which adds additional specific and Troop Bonuses.
You get Gear enhancement and promote materials from Zombie Lair’s and Zombies, but also from events.
Chips
Chips are slightly different to Gear. For each piece of gear there are 4 chips (1 Fighter, 1 Shooter, 1 Rider, 1 Troop), meaning that there are 24 chips in total to enhance and promoter. Below is a good example..
Chips can be obtained from the Ruins, while Troop Chips can be obtained from the Arena (and are very hard to get and develop)
The approach to Enhancement, Promotion, Modification, and Refinement is the same as for Gear.
Modules
Modules, are slightly different to Gear and Chips, but the same principles apply. There is one mudule type for each Troop class (Fighters, Shooters, Riders). and one of each Module becomes available at GEar Factory levels 16, 20, 22, 30, and 33. Be careful as 33 hangs off the right side of the screen and you have to scroll to see it.
Chips can be obtained from the Ruins, while Troop Chips can be obtained from the Arena (and are very hard to get and develop)
The approach to Enhancement, Promotion, Modification, and Refinement is the same as for Gear.
Module material can be collected from “Pit“, but also puchased from the Cash Mall, or obtained from events.
